Originally from Tennessee, Danielle began her dance training at the age of 8 under the instruction of Pat Brown-Seltzer. Ballet being her main focus, she went on to join a youth company (Ballet Arts Inc.) and danced major roles in many memorable performances such as The Nutcracker and Cinderella. At the age of 18, Danielle moved to Nashville to further pursue a career in professional dancing. She continued her studies with programs at Nashville Ballet, Joffrey Ballet of New York, and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School of Canada, among others. In 2012, she accepted company positions with Husted Dance Company and Found Movement Group before moving to Michigan. Upon arriving in Michigan, Danielle began teaching at a local dance studio and realized she had a passion for teaching and choreographing, as well. After 3 years she, along with her mother Roxanne, decided to open Dance Arts of Holly. Danielle currently teaches ballet 1-3, tap 1, jazz 1 and 2, and contemporary 1 and 2. Outside the studio, Danielle enjoys baking, practicing photography, and spending time with her husband, Zach, and three children, Noah, Elliana, and Alden.
